Fui num sábado, o segundo dia depois do pico das flores de cerejeira. O Tidal Basin estava tão diferente da última vez que fui no inverno. As árvores todas floridas, brancas e rosas, tão lindo! Tinha muita gente em todo lugar. Um monte de gente posando para fotógrafos, algumas modelos e casais, todo mundo tentando encontrar um lugar naquela multidão para tirar uma boa foto.

I went on a Saturday, the second day after the cherry blossom peaked. The Tidal Basin was so different than the last time I went there in the winter. The trees were all in bloom, white and pink, so beautiful! There were so many people in every place. Several posing to photographers, some models and couples, everybody trying to find a spot in that multitude to take a good picture.

Voltei na última quarta-feira da temporada das flores para tirar mais fotos e fiquei surpresa ao encontrar um Tidal Basin diferente do que encontrei antes. A chuva da terça-feira levou todas as flores, e só tinha algumas árvores ainda com flores. E é claro, todo mundo estavam tirando fotos nas últimas árvores floridas!

I came back on the last Wednesday of the season to take more pictures and I was surprised to find a totally different Tidal Basin that I met before. The rain on the Tuesday washed away the flowers, there were just a few trees still with flowers, and of course, everybody was there taking pictures at the last blossomed cherry trees!

Fiquei tão impressionada com a beleza dessas árvores de cerejeiras floridas. Primavera é tão bonito e queria que essa estação pudesse ficar o ano inteiro!

I was so impressed at how beautiful it was with all those cherry blossomed trees. Spring is so beautiful and I wish this season could stay all year long!
